Flipped Classroom Learning: Humanising the Classroom

Today I took the time to watch Salman Khan’s video on flipping the classroom which I had been sent by a colleague. I have been practising a flipped classroom for the last three years now with my film classes at Birmingham City University, but I really like Khan’s sentiment in this TEDTalk that flipped classroom learning allows us to ‘humanise the classroom’, to spend the majority of our time engaging with our students and allowing our students to engage with each other!
