Birmingham City University: Level Up Programme, Raise Annual Conference, Nottingham Trent, Sept 2013

Presenting at the Raise Annual Conference at Nottingham Trent, myself and student partner Charlee Greenhalgh discussed the developments in Student Academic Partnership that had become a part of the everyday practice at Birmingham City University. Interestingly the more we talk about this stuff, the more we get asked to talk about it. We love a bit of best practice sharing, and the RAISE Network community has always proven to be a warm and nurturing environment for the meeting of minds.Highlighting the benefits of shared student and staff designed projects which are designed to assist in student transition in order to enhance their sense of belonging within the Birmingham School of Media, we shared our development of the Level Up programme and its treatment of both the academic and social transition of our students into life in the School.
